Zailani Congratulates New NSA, Service Chiefs, Commends President Tinubu

The Chairman, APC Speakers Forum, Former Speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani has applauded President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the appointment of new National Security Adviser and Service Chiefs in the country.

The former Kaduna Speaker has congratulated the newly appointed National Security Adviser, Service Chiefs, whose names were announced on Monday by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

The Newly appointed National Security Adviser is Malam Nuhu Ribadu and the Service Chiefs are namely, Maj. Gen. C.G Musa who is the Chief of Defence Staff, Maj. Gen. T. A Lagbaja – Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admirral E. A Ogalla – Chief of Naval Staff, AVM H.B Abubakar – Chief of Air Staff, DIG Kayode Egbetokun – Acting Inspector-General of Police, Maj. Gen. EPA Undiandeye – Chief of Defense Intelligence.

Zailani specifically felicitated with Malam Nuhu Ribadu , on his appointment as the new National Security Adviser, saying Ribadu’s professionalism, hard work and dedication to service and track record make him a round peg in a round hole.

In a statement by the former Speaker’s Personal Press Secretary , Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, described the appointment of Maj Gen CG Musa who hails from Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, Kaduna State, as deserving and a reward for sacrifice to the service of the nation.

“Maj Gen Christopher Musa is a core professional and an experienced military officer who has served the Nigerian Army in several capacities and had participated in different operations within and outside the country.

“Until his appointment as the Chief of Defense Staff, he was the Commander, Nigerian Army Infantry Corps Center, Jaji Cantonment, I strongly believe that his professionalism, hard work and dedication to service recommended him for the appointment,” the statement said.

Zailani urged the new National Security Adviser to ensure stronger collaboration within the Nigerian security system in the fight against insurgency and banditry, to ensure restoration of enduring peace to all troubled areas in the country.

He expressed optimism that the new appointees would bring to bear, their wealth of experience, knowledge and leadership skills on their duties.
