While speakiing at Uvwie Hall today, 19th December, 2022, the Delta Central Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr. Peters Omaruaye, called on Deltans to give their maximum support and Votes to Chief Great Ogboru, governorship candidate of  APGA, another chance to reclaim, “our stolen Victory” in the 2023 general elections for the Restoration of a new delter of our dreams.

Mr. Peters Omaruaye, a Political Scientist and Entrepreneur revealed that, it was high time Deltans handed over power to a more neutral candidate, who does not have a godfather as the state has been suffering from underdevelopment since inception of PDP led government from 1999 till date. He said,  “PDP and APC are like Siemens twins who have all failed this beautiful state” and that both political parties have nothing new to offer

According to Mr. Peters Omaruaye, it is time to change those at the helm of affairs in the state, stressing that, the only way the state can develop is to stop the recycling of this same group of persons that from all indications, their reserve hope is gone. It has been the same people that are being recycled in governance in the state and things are deteriorating greatly, “so, we need a Great overhauling of the system”.

The senatorial hopeful and frontrunner representing APGA in the Delta Central Senatorial District election, expressed joy and hope at the turnout at the event. He urged them to be more prepared ahead of the task of defending their Victory at their various capacities, most especially at the units’ level, because it will not be business as usual. He therefore, called on all elegible voters who registered during the last exercise to go and collect their PVCs  and turn out emass to cast their votes  for APGA during the 2023 general elections.
