British actor Michael Gambon, celebrated for Shakespearean roles and playing Dumbledore in the later Harry Potter films, dies aged 82. According to his family he died peacefully in the hospital.
Sir Michael, who has won four TV Baftas, is known for his extensive back catalogue of work across TV, film, radio and theatre over a career spanning five decades.
