Yesterday, Valentine Ozigbo welcomed a powerful delegation of youth and local council leaders of APGA, who have chosen to stand on the right side of history, with the PDP.
The contingent, led by the Anambra APGA State Youth Leader, Comrade Eziokwu Magnus, have formally joined my party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and will be active partners in our noble quest to liberate our dear state.
I appreciate His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, who is the Deputy Chairman of the National Campaign Council, for graciously hosting this historic event.
I also thank my running mate, Dame Azuka Enemo, the Chairman of the PDP in Anambra State, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, Hon Obinna Chidoka, former deputy gov candidate, Lady Chidi Onyemelukwe, other distinguished members of the Anambra PDP Governorship Campaign Organisation, Anambra State House of Assembly, Anambra PDP State Working Committee, who were present to witness the ceremony.
The Ka Anambra Chawapu project is for Ndi Anambra, and I am convinced that the current wave of grassroot defection is an evidence of the prevalent sentiments of the majority of the people.
