Presidential Spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Charles Aniagwu, Wednesday, said Atiku Abubakar was not distracted about the crisis in the party that arose from primary election, adding that Atiku has made plans to resolve the internal crisis.
The Delta state Commissioner for Information who stated this in Asaba, said that the presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, would not be entangled in campaign of calumny with detractors.
He revealed that Atiku had made plans with party leaders in PDP to resolve its internal crisis, saying that he would not lose sight of his intention to campaign to be the next President of Nigeria.
According to him,” Atiku has been able to realise that Buhari did not deliver on the goods they promised in 2015.
“He is not aspiring just because he wants to occupy the position of the President but because he has seen that our people are going through trouble times as a man who has been able go understand that there is a need to give back to a country that has given him so much.
“Those who are telling lies like that told us years ago, cannot be given the right to do the same in 2023”.
Expressing worry over mass emigration of professionals in Nigeria in search of greener pastures, he noted that Atiku has a business to restore hope so that the professional would want to return because things would work again.
He declared that those who placed Nigeria in its current state should not be given room for continuation in 2023.
Aniagwu further noted the displeasure of the PDP presidential candidate over the abysmal management of the diversity of the country by the current administration at the federal level; saying that “irrespective of where you are from, whether you are in PDP or christian or muslim; Atiku wants to work with any competent Nigeria for the progress of Nigeria.”
He then urged the APC-led administration to take steps to return the children back to school.
“When he comes on board he promise to enhance quality of education that graduates are worth the level of qualification by the degrees,” he purported.
