Police-Teargas-Junev12 Protesters in Abuja

Mainwhile, the June 12 protesters, led by Omoyele Sowore and Deji Adayanju were fired at with teargas by the Police in the Gudu area of Abuja after not showing up at the Unity Fountain and perhaps as a way of avoiding conflict with the Pro-Buhari protesters who gathered there earlier in the morning.

The June 12 Protesters are protesting to pile pressure on the government of the day and hold President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration responsible for the rising insecurity, killings, widespread violence, unemployment, impunity and nepotism that they say has characterized the government of the day.
