Brave Nigerian Insists Police Has No Right To Search His Phone At Checkpoint (Video Attached)

A yet to be identified Nigerian put up a brave resistance to a police man who insisted on searching his phone against what the aggrieved Nigerian described as the instruction of the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, stopping police men from searching phones of Nigerians at Check Points.

In the said video, the recorder called for the identification and prosecution of the Police man, whose face was clearly captured by the victim of the police brutality.

At some point the said police man openly assaulted the video recorder with multiple punches and slaps.

The location and names of persons involved has not been ascertained as at the time of this publication.

A post on the Twitter handle of the PRO of the Lagos State Police Command indicates that 2 police personnel have been apprehended and are to be transferred to the Police Headquarters  in Abuja for trial.
