KARU, NASARAWA STATE
Yet another group has thrown its weight behind the gubernatorial ambition of General Nuhu Angbazo (Rtd), citing his exposure and proven capacity to pull Nasarawa State out of the doldrums it currently finds itself in.
The group, known as the Nasarawa Inclusive Movement for Angbazo (NIMA), a coalition of resident ethnic groups in Nasarawa State, announced its endorsement today, ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial elections in a widely circulated press release.
The coalition also stated that it is open to membership by professionals from all walks of life, including artisans, traders and members of various unions and faiths who believe in a united and progressive Nasarawa.
According to Mr. John Ejiofor, NIMA Director of Media:
“All residents have a duty to work for the progress and development of Nasarawa State. This is where we all call home. This is where we work, raise our children, and invest our future. General Angbazo has the competence and vision to unite us and move Nasarawa forward.”
The coalition pledged to mobilize residents across the state to support General Angbazo’s candidacy and to work in collaboration with the campaign team to ensure Angbazo’s victory in 2027.
