Popular Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland have lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The Network reported that the child drowned at his father’s Banana Island residence shortly after his third birthday party on October 20, 2022.
It was learnt that when the child was found unconscious in the pool, he was rushed to the Lagoon Hospital, Lagos Island, where doctors on duty confirmed him dead.
Although the parents are yet to speak on the sad, unfortunate occurrence, several prominent figures in the entertainment industry have confirmed it.
These include Eniola Badmus, Ayo Makun (AY), Daddy Freeze
AY had taken to Instagram on Tuesday to lament the death of a child which he said is “unnatural, unfair and tragic. This hits me so bad.”
Davido had been seen in videos teaching the child how to swim with high hopes that he would catch up very fast.
