All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Abbi, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta state were hosted to a feast by a chieftain of the party, Dr. Eugene Okolocha.

The event was to unite members in different camps and positioning them for leadership roles during the forthcoming congress.

Members, however, agreed to work together to build a formidable.

The meeting held at the behest of the Organisation for Ndokwa Unity (ONU), otherwise known as Ndokwa Unite, had in attendance the Ajuwa of Aboh Kingdom, Chief Tony Amechi, Onotu Henry Okechukwu and Dr Chris Edeme.

Some of the highlights of their communique signed by party leaders including Chief Charles Olisa –Ndokwa;  Chief Tony Uti and Emeke Ozegbe were: “Ndokwa APC members must be united in pursuit of common interests; reaching out to other APC members to support an Ndokwa candidate for the position of State Chairmanship position; an Ndokwa person be considered for appointment into Federal Government institutions like the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and other statutory boards.”

Ndokwa APC leaders urged the National Assembly and President Muhammadu Buhari to fast track the establishment of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology in Ndokwa land.

The party leaders called for the early completion of the Independent Power Project (IPP) initiated by President Buhari-led administration.

The community welcomed Senator Peter Nwaoboshi into APC and thanked him for proposing a bill to give Ndokwa Nation a Federal institution.
