EKEREMOR RALLIES FOR NDC AS PARTY INAUGURATES WARD EXECUTIVES, OPENS LGA SECRETARIAT

Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State witnessed a significant political gathering as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) held a large-scale event marked by the inauguration of ward executives and the commissioning of its LGA secretariat.

The event, held in Ekeremor town, brought together party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters from across the local government. The inauguration of ward executives across the LGA and the opening of the secretariat are seen as key steps in strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and operational presence in Bayelsa West.

Speaking at the event, NDC LGA Chairman Ebide Brown led party faithful and was joined by notable figures including Suru Oyaredei, Mark Ayoro, Ebi Afesuku, Prince Simeon Epebifiye, and Pius Jonah.

Youth and grassroots mobilization were also strongly represented, with the presence of Ebilade Ekerefe, the Bayelsa State Youth Leader of the NDC, and Atti J. Moses, Director of Students Mobilization, alongside other party executives and supporters.

The State Chairman of the NDC, Dauprebo Ikuromo, was represented by Okoro P. S., Vice Chairman of NDC Bayelsa West, highlighting the importance of the event within the party’s broader state structure.

A notable feature of the gathering was the strong turnout of supporters, including women, youths, traders, and community leaders, many of whom turned out in party-branded attire. The atmosphere was marked by enthusiasm, chants, and expressions of solidarity.

Party representatives used the occasion to reiterate the NDC’s focus on grassroots engagement, internal organization, and democratic participation. They emphasized the party’s commitment to presenting its ideas to the electorate and allowing voters to make their choices through the ballot.

With the successful inauguration of its ward executives and the commissioning of its local secretariat, the NDC signaled its intention to expand its reach and consolidate its presence in the state.
