The management of First Media Network Limited, publishers of First Daily Online Newspaper, First Daily Sports and Civil Service News, has expressed profound appreciation to dignitaries, speakers, partners and guests who contributed to the success of its 6th Anniversary Public Lecture and National Dialogue on Security held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Conference Centre in Abuja.
In a statement issued by the Publisher, Daniel Markson, the organisation described the event as a remarkable success, attributing the achievement to the overwhelming support and active participation of key stakeholders committed to promoting national peace, security and development.
The publisher conveyed special appreciation to the Special Guest of Honour, Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Nimbofa Ayawei. Markson thanked the governor for his consistent support of the annual public lecture series since its inception and for identifying with the initiative over the years.
The statement also acknowledged the contributions of the Chairman of the occasion, retired General Martin Luther Agwai, and Co-Chairman, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, National Leader of the NDC, describing their roles as instrumental to the success of the programme.
