Find full text of the press release below:

It has come to our attention that some persons have been going around, in the guise of PDP Youth Wing, to Solicit for donations from unsuspecting PDP youth, ostensibly for the victims of the Southern Kaduna massacre.

The office of the PDP National Youth Leader is hereby notifying the general public that it did not authorize anyone to go on such fundraising drive on its behalf or on behalf of the PDP.

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party have not mandated the National Youth Leader, Comrade SKE Udeh-Okoye or any other person nor directorate of the party, to go on such fundraising activity on behalf of the PDP, for the afflicted people of Southern Kaduna. Anyone involved in such an activity, in the name of PDP Youth or PDP as a party, is a fraud.

The PDP National Youth Leader, Comrade SKE Udeh-Okoye, is hereby issuing a warning to everyone to desist from impersonating and using the name of PDP Youth for fraudulent activities.

The Office of the PDP National Youth Leader wants the public to understand that before the PDP Youth Directorate engages in any activity, a press statement to that effect will be released by this office.

We commensurate with the grieving people of Southern Kaduna, and call on the APC government of President Muhammadu Buhari to live up to its core duty to the citizenry, which is the protection of lives and properties, and the creation of jobs. The bloodbath and carnage in Nigeria has grown to a monstrous proportion as our young persons now live in fear daily.

Signed,

Okah Ewah Edede
SA Media and Publicity to PDP National Youth Leader
