The Government College Ughelli Old Boys Association Entry Class of 1976 yesterday, May 11th in Emede, Isoko South LGA of Delta State, joined their Classmate to bid his father, Chief (Sir) Samuel Ukoro Isume (Jan. 17, 1932 – Mar 22, 2024) farewell with what was described by the Class President, Mr. Sunday Okpare, as a Fantastic Turnout of old classmates.
Mr. Frank Isume is Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Economic Planning, Asaba, Delta State.

Pa S.U. ISUME is an Ancient Meriner, member of the Government College Ughelli Old Boys Association. He was of the Class of 1952. He was Principal, College of Commerce Warri (1967-1973), Nshiagu College, Ogwashi-Uku (1973-76), College Secretary (Registrar) College of Education, Abraka (1976-84).
Chief Samuel Isume was a seasoned teacher and Administrator.
