GOVERNOR OBASEKI INSPECTS COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE

A report by an Edo State government official has stated that, Gov. Obaseki’s commitment to transformative education is positioning Edo State to become a preferred destination for education tourism. “Our state’s education ecosytem is being repositioned to service the nation and Sub-saharan Africa at large.

The statement said that the College of Agriculture, Iguorhiakhi will soon be upgraded to a University of Agriculture.

“Iguorhiakhi is located in Ovia SW LGA. Longitude 6.483 N and Latitude 5.462 E. It is about 45mins drive from Benin city.

“The College of Agriculture is a tri-campus system as is now the norm in Edo State’s tertiary education sub-sector. Ovia SW (Iguorhiakhi- main campus), Esan NE (Uromi) and Etsako East (Agenebode)”, the statement concluded.
