BENIN – As the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) coming up this weekend is gathering momentum, the Edo state chapter of the party on Tuesday appealed to Nigerians to join the party to remove the President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government come 2023.
Edo PDP gave the current unabated security situation and the biting economic hardship now ravaging the nation as enough reason to sweep the ruling APC out of Aso Rock in the next general elections.
Chris Nehikhare, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, who made these declarations while addressing a press conference at the party’s secretariat in Benin City, said President Buhari and the APC have failed the country therefore does not deserve any sympathy from Nigerian voters to merit their votes in 2023.
