JUST IN: Senate receives Tinubu’s second ministerial list

President Bola Tinubu this Wednesday afternoon, August 2, 2023, sent a second batch of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening.

Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, delivered President Tinubu’s letter containing the new batch of ministerial nominees to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The Senate had to temporarily suspend the screening of the last set of the earlier batch of 28 ministerial nominees to attend to Gbajabiamila.
The Senate had on Monday screened 14 out of the 28 ministerial nominees earlier submitted by the President.

On Tuesday, nine out of the remaining 14 were screened. The remaining five nominees are being screened today.
