Kogi State Cricket Association Holds 2nd Edition Of It’s Coaching Clinic On July 29

The Kogi state cricket Association will hold its 2nd edition of Grassroots Cricket Development Coaching Clinic for games masters in secondary schools across the state. The programme tagged ” Let’s Play Cricket” holds on Thursday, 29th of July 2021 at the Indoor Sports Hall of Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, Kogi State.

The Chairman of the Kogi State Cricket Association and immediate past representative on the recently dissolved Board of the Nigerian Cricket Federation (NCF), Mr. Oludare Aimola told *Crossfire Reports* that, this is a one-day programme consisting of both theory & practical sessions. He said the objective of the programme is to further boost and take the game of cricket to a higher level in Kogi State and indeed the whole of the North Central. The North Central States of the NCF consists of Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Nasarawa, Nenue, Plateau and the FCT.

Furthermore, Mr. Aimola said the programme is also to prepare the state for the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) accelerated Growth Development Programme.

Over 30 secondary schools’ games masters are expected to participate in the one-day coaching clinic.
