Former Vice President Namadi Sambo invite APC leaders to support Usman El-kudan to become the next National Youth Leader, welcome Atiku to his new home.
It was a moment of great & deep questioning amongst Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faithful today in Nigeria as Namadi Sambo, was seen holding meetings with APC stalwarts in his new Abuja home.
Unknown to the 2019 presidential candidate of the PDP, Sambo had invited some of his APC allies to help welcome him to his new home.
On the arrival of Atiku Abubakar, he met Namadi Sambo holding meeting with some APC stalwarts, among them are the former director general of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Sani Sidi, who defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC), shortly after losing the 2019 gubernatorial ticket of the PDP and Rabiu Bako, former commissioner of information in Kaduna state, in their midst was El-Kudan, one of the aspirants for the position of the PDP National Youth Leader. Once again, this goes to show that Sambo is always hobnobbing with APC members, which gives credence to the accusation of anti-party activities most times levelled against him.
Shortly after Atiku’s arrival, the former Vice President hoodwinked him into snapping picture with his allies, with the intention of misleading the public into believing that his aspirant has the support of the 2019 presidential candidate of the PDP.
Sambo is known to always shy away from participating in any party activities or contributing to the growth of the PDP, since the defeat he suffered in the hands of the APC as a former Vice President. Despite that, he suddenly want’s to bounce back to reckoning in the party by making frantic efforts to produce a National Working Committee (NWC) member in the PDP, with the help of known APC stalwarts.
The question that many PDP members keep asking on the interrogation of our correspondent is that, what does Sambo want to achieve by regularly dining with the APC at the state and national level, at same time struggling to have his loyalists in key positions in the PDP? This does not portray the image of a true party man and most PDP members are beginning to doubt the true intention of the former Vice President and his anointed aspirant.
