A press release by the Nigerian Defence Academy Public Relations Officer, Major Bashir Muhm Jajira has given an account of the killing and adoption of its officers in Kaduna today.
Major Bashir Muhd said that, the security architecture of the Nigerian Defence Academy was compromised early this morning by unknown gunmen who gained access into the residential area within the Academy in Afaka. He said during the unfortunate incident, two personnel were killed and one was abducted.
Further more, he said the Academy in collaboration with the 1 Division, Nigerian Army and Air Training Command as well as other security agencies in Kaduna state have since commenced pursuit of the unknown gunmen within the general area with a view to tracking them and rescueing the abducted personnel.
In conclusion, Major Bashir Mohd said the NDA community and Cadets are safe in the Academy. He assured the general public on behalf of the NDA that these unknown gunmen would soon be apprehended and the abducted personnel rescued.
