The National Examinations Council (NECO) says it will commence the conduct of the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for school based candidates on Monday, June 27, 2022.
The Head, Information and Public Relations Division of the council, Mr Azeez Sani made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday.
Sani called on state Ministries of Education, Principals, Commandants and all stakeholders to disregard any speculation on the alleged postponement of the examination.
He said that the council had put all necessary measures in place to ensure a seamless conduct of the 2022 SSCE.
He, therefore, said that the examination would end on Friday, August 12, 2022, while saying that candidates would be examined in 76 subjects during the examination.
