The Northern Consensus Movement (NCM) has placed a bounty of N100,000,000 as an offer to anyone who can produce the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu alive, hale and hearty.
Mr Awwal Aliyu, President of NCM made this known in Abuja on Thursday at a news conference of the organisation in collaboration with Arewa Traders Association, Northern Paliament and 73 others.
Aliyu also called on the Federal Government to pay the agreed compensation of N4.7 billion to northerners who lost their lives, properties and injured during the Endsars protest in Akinyele Sasha Market violence.
“ Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB is the man and brain behind the killings and destruction of properties belonging to innocent northerns residing in the south eastern Nigeria carrying out their legitimate businesses using his proscribed terrorist organization IPOB/ESN.
“ Nnamdi Kanu jumped bail while facing treasonable charges against the Nigerian state.
“ NCM is hereby declaring Nnamdi Kanu the spiritual leader of IPOB/ESN wanted for crimes against humanity, and for instigating the killings of innocent northerners residing in south eastern Nigeria through his hate speeches.
“ NCM has placed a bounty of N100,000,000 as an offer to anyone who can produce Nnamdi Kanu alive, hale and hearty and hands him over to NCM for onward delivery to security agencies for prosecution,” he said.
He therefore called on the US. German and British governments as the champions of democracy, rule of law be freedom of speech to respect Nigeria sovereignty and facilitate the repatriation of Kanu back to the country to face his terrorism and genocide charges against innocent citizens.
The President further gave a 30-days ultimatum to state governors to compensate the people whose lives and properties where destroyed during the endsars protest.
