OGBORU, OMARUAYE AND PARTY OFFICIALS BRAINSTORM ON THE WAY FORWARD

The governorship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Great Ogboru and the Delta Central Senatorial Candidate of APGA, Mr. Peters Omaruaye, met with Chairmen, Secretaries and Youth Leaders, Ward Coordinators, and women representatives from the various wards and LGAs that make up the Delta Central Senatorial District.

The brainstorming session was called at the instance of Mr. Peters Omaruaye in Uvwie Community Town Hall , PTI Road, Effurun, Warri. The brainstorming session was attended by the Chairman of the Ogboru Campaign Council, Chief Emmanuel Okotie Eboh, and other dignitaries including the wife of the People’s General, Chief Mrs. Ebi Ogboru, and others.

Speaking during the meeting, Chief Ogboru said the only genuine opposition in the state is led by him, and “it is organised, well managed with a team of experienced foot soldiers” with a long history of political participation.

“We have never lost elections in Delta Central Senatorial District since 2003 and we do not intend to lose come 2023, that is why this meeting was convened to rub minds, share opinions and strategise towards winning the 2023 general elections”.

He assured all that 2023 elections cannot be rigged as the introduction of BVAS has made rigging of elections impossible.

Also speaking during the meeting, the Senatorial hopeful and frontrunner, Mr. Peters Omaruaye, the convener of the meeting, assured everyone present that “Delta PDP” will become the opposition in 2023. In his words, “I called this meeting ahead of my campaign tour of Ward to Ward within the Delta Central Senatorial District and to equally share ideas with the chairmen of the party within the district, the coordinators, secretaries, women representatives and others on the way forward”.

He said he is of the believe that the meeting is very important and will go a long way in addressing important and key issues in the party. He added that more of these brainstorming sessions would be convened in the future to make the party better and stronger. He prayed the meeting produce’s a positive and progressive outcome that will show better ways of managing the party. Omaruaye concluded that the meeting was called ahead of the ward to ward campaign and also to map out strategies on how to go about it.

Others who spoke were the three House of Representatives Candidates across the Delta Central Senatorial District. The candidates for States Houses of Assembly across the Delta Central Senatorial District, Chairmen, Youth Leaders and Women’s Leaders across the Senatorial District. They all agreed to deliver the candidates of the party at all levels.
