OLAM International has donated 15 Bags of 25kg Rice to support the *Right to Food Raffle Draw* , at the 2021 Human Rights Fiesta, Pursuant to *Article 25* of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR),1948.

Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) states that:

(1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and
well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and
medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in
the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other
lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
(2) Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All chil-dren, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection.

The  Law Office of Frank Tietie will make up the number of Bags of Rice to 25, to reiterate the concept of ARTICLE 25. Frank Tietie is also the Executive Director of Citizens Advocacy for Social and Economic Rights (CASER) and has been behind the annual celebration of the Human Rights Fiesta in conjunction with the National Human Rights Commission for the past 5 years.

In a release by Frank Tietie, he said CASER was grateful to Michael Egiethua, publisher of Crossfire Reports and Proudly GCUOBA, for coordinating the rice donations from Olam International.

The 2021 Human Rights Fiesta is jointly organised by Citizens Advocacy for Social and Economic Rights (CASER) & National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to mark the International Human Rights Day, 2021.

CASER) in partnership with NHRC  today, 9th of December 2021, at the FCT Exhibition Pavilion (Opposite RadioHouse) Abuja), starting at 4pm, will hold the 5th edition of the national Human Rights Fiesta, an annual cultural event to mark the International Human Rights Day. The event is meant, essentially to promote human rights in Nigeria despite widespread violation.
