OMARUAYE CONGRATULATES HRM MACAULAY POPO OVBAGBEDIA AS HE RECEIVES STAFF OF OFFICE

Mr. Peters Omaruaye (backing the camera) congratulates the new Ohworode of Olomu at the presentation of Staff of office by His Excellency, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on 20th September 2023 at Olomu Grammar School Field, Otorore Olomu.

Mr. Peters Omaruaye, the immediate past candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), for the Delta Central Senatorial District in the last General elections in Delta Stste has congratulated the newly crowned Ohworode of Ancient Olomu kingdom, HRM Macaulay Popo Ovbagbedia, the 13th Ohworode of the Kingdom.

The ceremony which took place at Olomu Grammar School field, Otorore-Olomu on 20th September 2023, had the Delta State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Sir Monday Onyeme represent the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sherff Oborevwori in the presentation of Staff of Office to HRM Macaulay Popo. The Deputy Governor described Royal Fathers as partners of government due to the roles they play in promoting peace.

In his remarks at the ceremony,  Mr Omaruaye said the newly crowned Ohworode, HRM Macaulay Popo Ovbagbedia, Uhurhie-Osadjere II, JP, the Ohworode of Ancient Olomu Kingdom will no doubt take the kingdom to the next level.

Omaruaye observed that the selection of the newly crowned Ohworode by the kingdom’s King Makers is a reflection of his outstanding capabilities and the trust and confidence reposed in him by sons and daughters of the kingdom.

Speaking further, Omaruaye said he is confident that the newly crowned Ohworode will continue to serve as a beacon of wisdom and vision with his unwavering commitment to the kingdom and his ability to navigate complex challenges with grace and compassion and that this will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the lives of countless sons and daughters of the kingdom and Nigeria in general.

Mr Omaruaye prayed that God will give the newly crowned Ohworode long life to enable him achieve his mission to transform the kingdom to greatness.

The ceremony attracted important members of the kingdom from far and near.
