The Delta Central Senatorial District Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in the just concluded general election, Mr. Peters Omaruaye has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of the Easter celebrations, which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Speaking at his country home in GRA Effurun, Warri during the weekend, Mr. Omaruaye urged citizens to imbibe the selfless attributes displayed by Jesus Christ and called for unity, tolerance and peaceful co-existence amongst the good people of Delta Central, Delta State and Nigeria.
In his words, “as we merry with our loved ones for the Easter celebration, we are implored to also remember the essence of Easter, which is, recognition of the love, sacrifice and suffering Jesus Christ bore for humanity.”
He Said love and tolerance should live above divisive tendencies because in our collective efforts to progress as a people, we must all rise above our perceived differences and allow love and tolerance to take us to the next level.
He therefore, urge the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District and Nigeria in general to always remember our dear state and the nation, Nigeria in our prayers.
