…Visits Royal Father, The Okparuku of Orogun kingdom and Unenurhie community

Mr. Peters Omaruaye, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Delta Central Senatorial candidate, had a busy and productive day on Sunday, February 5th, 2023. He started the day by attending the launch of the book entitled “7 books” by the Bishop of Sapele Diocese, His Lordship Rt. Rev’d Dr. Blessing Avwenayeri Erifeta (JP) at Christ Anglican Pro-Cathedral in Sapele. The event, which was presided over by Pastor Godwin Akpovie, was a momentous occasion and brought together key visitors and government leaders from all over Delta State.

The event was attended by several high-profile figures, including the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, who was represented by the Secretary to the Delta State Government, Chief Patrick Ukah. The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, and his SDP counterpart, Chief Kenneth Gbagi, were also in attendance. Also in attendance was RT Hon Rev. Fracis Waive.

After the event, Mr. Omaruaye visited His Royal Majesty Omoefe Ozenikpe, Okparuku of the Kingdom of Orogun, and presented his case for royal blessings. Accompanied by his entourage, including the House of Assembly candidate, Sir Clement Ikpere, and the House of Representatives candidate, Olorogun Ekorhi Daniel, Mr. Omaruaye presented his case to the Royal father. He spoke of his past contributions to the success of the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, and asked for the votes of the people of Orogun.

His Royal Majesty Omoefe Ozenikpe was visibly pleased to receive Mr. Omaruaye and his entourage and blessed them for their endeavors. In his remarks, the Royal Father acknowledged the important role that Mr. Omaruaye had played in the past and wished him success in his future endeavors.

After leaving the palace in Orogun, Mr. Omaruaye and his party headed to the nearby village of Unenurhie, where they were greeted by a large and enthusiastic crowd of women and children. Clearly from the videos, the children were enjoying this visit every inch as much as the candidate! The women and children sang and danced joyfully, filling the streets with their energy and excitement. The crowd marched to the town hall, where they were joined by an even larger audience of community members.

At the town hall, Mr. Masion Peter, the community chairman, welcomed the APGA candidates and identified them as the community’s best options for the 2023 elections. He praised their efforts and dedication and pledged to deliver all the votes for the APGA in the coming election.
