PANDEF Hails It’s National Leader, Chief Edwin Clark at 94

The National Chairman of Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, Senator Emmanuel Ibok-Essien, FNSE, has felicitated with Chief E. K. Clark on the occasion of his birthday today on behalf of the Board of Trustees (BoT), the National and State Executive Committees, the entire Membership of Pan Niger Delta Forum and indeed, the people of the Niger Delta Region.

In a press statement signed by Hon. Ken Robinson , the National Publicity Secretary of PANDEF felicitate with it’s National Leader, Chief Dr. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, CON, on the momentous occasion of his 94th Birthday Anniversary.

The statement said further that, “PANDEF describes Chief Clark as an iconic Nationalist and a Legendary leader, whose life is a rich source of inspiration to many, within and beyond the borders of Nigeria”.

It stated that, “Over the years, the highly respected Chief has in his capacities as an educationist, politician, public servant, lawyer, lawmaker, community leader and Nationalist, continued to play vital roles to stimulate unity, peace and development in the Niger Delta Region, and our dear nation, Nigeria, at large”.

The statement said as “Chief Clark clocks the honored age of 94, on 25th May, we salute his courage, wisdom, steadfastness, selflessness, benevolence, and strength of character. We are, profusely, appreciative of his leadership and guidance”.

The Niger Delta Region, and indeed Nigeria, owe him lasting gratitude, the statement further said.

The statement said, while PANDEF offers thanks to the Almighty God for the amazing Grace of longevity bestowed on our leader, our fervent supplication is that God would continue to grant him the benison of peace, good health and wellbeing for many more years”.

Concluding the statement said, “with the strong hope that we will all, together, witness the realization of our shared desire for a better Niger Delta Region, and the Nigeria of our dreams; a peaceful, united, and prosperous country, where Equity, Fairness, and Justice reign, which the nonagenarian has remained doggedly committed to”.
