…Charly Boy narrates encounter at Abuja Rally
Charles Oputa, Nigerian singer and activist better known as Charly Boy has narrated the surreal encounter he experienced at an Abuja political rally on Saturday.
WITHIN NIGERIA earlier reported that thousands of Nigerians, mostly young people took to the streets to march in solidarity for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Charly Boy, in a twitter post, narrated how pro-Obi supporters out of excitement tore his trousers, shirts despite having about fifteen bodyguards with him during the fitness walk for Peter Obi.
The self acclaimed “Area father” added that his guards had to bundle him into a car when the crowd became overwhelming, noting that what he saw at the Abuja city gate was a political revolution and not a rally.
