Having defeated Ekpetiama community in their first game at the Tombia Centre, Grace Chapel FC proved that their victory was no fluke with a convincing five goals to nil win over One Man Country Community, and also displayed a better performance that their first game played few days ago at same center.

Goals from Aaron Solomon, Ebitimi Kalama and Honest in the first half, saw Grace Chapel lead three nil at half time, after which Ebizimor Garando and Tari Kofi, compounded their opponents’ woes by adding two more goals, at the resumption.

One Man Country community’s Goal keeper, happen to be the culprit, as two of his careless errors resulted to the first and last goal, with the latter been so hilarious, after he rushed out to pick up a direct loosed ball, but unfortunately, could not lay his hands on it, as the ball ran past in between his legs into goal.

Grace Chapel took total control of the game, as their lead aided their confidence and skillful display, to the amazement of fans and natives who came out to witness the best of grassroot football.

The first game between Revival Fire Church FC and one of the sociocultural groups, Oduduwa FC, also produced lots of hilarious moments which saw the former, defeat the Yorubas five goals to three in the encounter.

An early 11th minute goal from Newton Obote gave Coach Kenneth Bobo’s team the lead, while Gediapere Abraham, Leghemo Woyins, Yakubu Alex, and Akpos Richard, increased the tally for the young lads, while Oduduwa’s Bayou Adetula, Favour Egbo and Peremobowei, found the back of the net, which did no threat to the eventual winners.

In other centres, Oxbow Lake FC lost one- two to Agbura FC in the first game at BDGS, Church of God Mission played a one all draw against Swali Market FC, with the shoot out ending 4-3 in favor of Church of God, while at Opolo Centre, Transformation Fullness lost one-three to Bayelsa Palm in the first game, with Blossom Jnr FC losing three nil to NIIT FC.

At Okordia Zarama, External Grace FC were two nil winners over Living Water International, Blessed Winning Church lost out three-one on penalties after a one all draw over Igbogene FC, Lobia community progressed 6-5 on penalties after another one all draw with Ogboinbiri community at Azuzuama Centre.

The Oporoma Centre witnessed Lodoun FC beat Obololi FC one nil, Ayama FC also beat Osokama community one nil, while the first game at the Kaiama centre saw Igbedi community exit the competition after losing 4-3 on penalties, with a one all draw at regulation time.

The Oporoma Centre witnessed Lodoun FC beat Obololi FC one nil, Ayama FC also beat Osokama community one nil, while the first game at the Kaiama centre saw Igbedi community exit the competition after losing 4-3 on penalties, with a one all draw at regulation time.
