…As he visits on a thank you and Yuletide Felicitation
Former Bayelsa State Governor and serving Senator, Henry Seriake Dickson on a “Thank You/Yuletide Visit” to the people of Ogobiri Mein Clan of “Ward Eleven”, Sagbama LGA.
The former Bayelsa State Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, again met a huge and tumultuous crowd of his Constituents, party loyalists, local IYC members, supporters and indigenes of Ogobiri Mein Clan consisting of Agboro, Agorogbene, Dagana Ama, Eriama, Kabeama, Ogobiri Okunbiri, all in Sagbama LGA, gathered at Kabeama Community Primary School Field, in Kabeama, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa Staten to give him a grand reception.
On his part, Senator Dickson said, he came to thank the people of Ogobiri Mein Clan for their continued support over the years, from the days he started running for political office as a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives (2 terms), to the time he ran for the gubernatorial elections (2 terms), to the present time, when he ran for the Senatorial District’ slot at the Nigerian Senate, the Bayelsa State born Senator Dickson said he was indeed very grateful to the people for their steadfastness in trusting him to represent them well all the time.
He presented gifts to the Paramount Rulers and the people, just as he was presented with gifts by the Paramount Rulers and the people, that included Plantain, Starch, Fresh and Dried Fish, etc.
All the Paramount Rulers of the Communities in the Clan were in attendance to receive Senator Dickson.
So far, he has visited over 8 communities cut across Sagbama and Ekeremor Local Government Areas.
Senator Dickson has been on a working vacation this yuletide and has been embarking on a Christmas/New Year felicitation and consultation with all stakeholders within his Constituency.
He was again, just like in Aleibiri, met by an enthusiastic crowd of supporters and indigenes at the banks of the River Forcados in Kabeama.
The grand reception had cultural displays, singing and dancing, as well the the boat regatta that met Senator Dickson on the rivers Forcados.
At the end of the grand reception, Senator Dickson commissioned solar street lights, a project initiated by Hon. Emmanuel Okosikeme, Vice Chairman, Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.
