By MICHAEL EGIETHUA

A United States of America (USA) based Nigerian Diasporan and ICT Consultant, Pastor Nosa Olotu, has said that there is hope for Nigeria given the possibility of voting in the right candidate to pilot the affairs of our dear nation in the 2023 Presidential election.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Crossfire Reports in Abuja yesterday, Mr. Olotu said in response to a question about what his expectations are on the 2023 Presidential Elections that, he believes there is hope for Nigeria and that with at least 1 of the 2 people he believes are capable of taking Nigeria to the next level on the ballot.

Speaking on the chances of the other Presidential Candidates, Mr. Oluto said, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is not considered one of the preferred candidates because Buhari whose tenure is about to finish in some months time, cannot handover to another Fulani Man after 8 years and most Nigerians do not trust him.

For Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mr. Olotu said, he doesn’t seem to look fit enough to handle the affairs of Governance and that secondly, the New movement of the people called “Obidient “ is youth driven and the youths seem to be upset with him and blame him for the Lekki Tollgate massacre.

Olotu said further that, Rabiu Kwankwaso, will be able to pull some weight in Kano, but it won’t go beyond that.

“Question: What are your expectations on the 2023 Presidential Elections?

“Answer: I believe there is hope for Nigeria , at least we will be having 1 of the 2 people I believe are capable of taking Nigeria to the next level on the ballot.

“Q: You said 1 out of your 2 preferred aspirants is on the ballot , who are these people and which of them is on the ballot?

“Answer: My 2 preferred aspirants were Peter Obi and Prof. Yemi Osibanjo (VP) . I would have loved to have them on both sides of the ballot.

“Q: How about the other candidates, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar , Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Rabiu Kwankwaso?

“Answer: Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is not considered one of the preferred candidates because (1) Buhari whose tenure is about to finish in some months time, cannot handover to another Fulani Man after 8 years (2), most Nigerians do not trust him.
For Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu (1), he doesn’t seem to look fit enough to handle the affairs of Governance (2), the New Movement of the people called “Obedient “ is youth driven and the youth seem to be upset with him and blame him for the Lekki Tollgate massacre. Rabiu Kwankwaso, will be able to pull some weight in Kano, but it won’t go beyond that.

Asked if the Nigerian Diaspora was divided, since his friend Reno Omokri is a strong supporter of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and that both of them promoted Goodluck Jonathan in the diaspora when he was running for the office of President. Mr. Olotu said that Reno Omokri has the right to support anyone he pleases to and that he knows Reno himself knows, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is not the one for the office at this time. Alhaji Atiku Ababukar not being one of my preferred choices today is even as a result of Reno Omokri’s persuasion.

ALHAJI ATIKU ABABUKAR NOT BEING ONE OF MY PREFERRED CHOICES TODAY IS EVEN AS A RESULT OF RENO OMOKRI’S PERSUASION.

“Answer: Reno Omokri has the right to support anyone he pleases to ,I know Reno himself knows, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is not the one for the office at this time. Alhaji Atiku Ababukar not being one of my preferred choices today is even as a result of Reno Omokri’s persuasion.

“Reno is a Political Consultant and just as a Defense Attorney’s job is to get his client out of the hook by any means possible, not wether they committed the crime or not, so also is the consultant. They are paid to launder the image of their clients and come up with strategies to make sure they win election not withstanding wether they are good enough or not.

Finally, Pastor Nosa Olotu said he will like to advise Nigerians to vote wisely, to think about their future and the future of their children and unborn children. He said they should not allow all these “Social Media Influencers”, who have secured their future and that of their children in the UK and USA to influence their choices and that Nigerians should not sell their votes, else our children will ask us questions in future.
