In attendance at Galesburg, United States of America were many family friends and political associates of the Chief Demas Akpore Political Legacy other sympathizers for the Wake Keep for Chief Mrs. Grace Temisan Akpore held on the October 4, 2024.
Dignitaries and family members gathered on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Radiant Worship Center, Galesburg, for the wake keep of Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Grace Temisan Akpore who died at the age of 95 on August 29, 2024 in America.
Attendees included Mrs. Stella Omu, Chief Jomo Akpore, Kevwe Akpore, Enai Akpore, Newman Akpore, Chief Edafe Esiso, Tracy and Kris Akpore, Dr. Frank Omu, Chief & Chief (Mrs) Do-Good O Efe-Nogo JP, Mrs. Doris Mabiaku, and JJ, Kiara, and Sade, Ezeh Njiribeako among others. They paid tribute to Mama Grace’s legacy as a former educator in Nigeria and longtime member of the Galesburg community. She was also wife to the late Deputy Governor of Bendel State between 1979 and 1993 under the administration of late Governor, Professor Ambrose Alli.
The visitation and funeral service held on Saturday, October 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Radiant Worship Center. Mama Grace will be repatriated to Warri, Nigeria, for burial.
