The Biafra Nations League (BnL) has warned the Federal Government that the actions of the Department of States Services (DSS) could throw Nigeria into conflict.

It gave the warning in a statement issued over the weekend and signed by its National Leader, Princewill Chimezie Richards, in which he strongly condemned last week’s arrest of the Eze Igbo of Ajao Estate in Lagos State, Chief Fredrick Nwajagu, after he threatened to invite the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to Lagos State to protect Igbo businesses since the government and its security agencies h

Richards accused the DSS of being biased “for sparing Yoruba chiefs and activists who have publicly come out to threaten Igbos” after Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, beat the political godfather of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) during the February 25 election in the state.

The BnL Leader, while throwing his group’s support for the detained Eze Igbo of Ajao Estate, said that Biafran loyalists would invade Lagos if the attacks on Igbos continue unchecked.

“Our boys, our supporters will invade Lagos if the attacks on our people continue, it’s not hard to mobilize them, they’re the ones calling for war and we are not afraid,” Richards warned.
