Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri received the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, in audience at the Government House in Yola on Thursday.
The minister was in the state to commission some projects funded by the Oil and Gas Sector Intervention in the 6 States of the Northeast Region.
Out of the 58 designed projects for the State, the projects are the Radiology Complex at Mobibbo Adama Teaching Hospital in Yola, the remodeled Nana Asmaโu Maternal Referral Centre in Yola, and the Ajiya Clinic in Jimeta.
Governor Umaru Fintiri, who was overjoyed by the Ministerโs visit, thanked the Federal Government for carrying out the projects, which he said will benefit the state greatly.
He revealed that the state government has given the healthcare sector top priority in terms of construction, rehabilitation, and equipping of health facilities.

The Modibbo Teaching Hospital Yolaโs Radiology Complex has a City Scanner, a Neonatal Unit, resident doctorโs quarters, digital radio, an MRI unit, and a histopathology unit.
The 58 intervention projects in the state were part of the Federal Governmentโs pledge and commitment to rebuilding the northeast sub-region.
Dr. Halilu Ahmed Modi, a former Adamawa Governorship aspirant, was among those accompanying the Minister to Government House Yola.
