Ravaging Kaduna State selected side of “13” Players yesterday bashed the Cricket CCub Abuja (CCA) selected “13” in the first game of the Bilateral Series between Kaduna State and the CCA scheduled over the weekend of Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of September, 2022.

The Kaduna Staye side won the toss and chose to bat first with a remarkable line up of opening batters. Danladi Isaac (87runs), Isaac Okpe(51 runs) and Sulvester Okpe (30 runs).

At the end of the first inning, Kaduna State scored 221 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 Overs.

The CCA side Captained by Saad Butt came to chase 221 runs at the start of the second inning and needed 222 runs to win.

However, the fall of CCA’s critical three opening wickets of Duro (0), Nithin (0) and Subhradip (10) caused a panic the side never recovered from.

Regardless of the fact that the CCA had some key players missing in the squard (Hashim, Shantanu, Adnan, Pankaj), FCT Cricket observers were of the opinion that the team that played just had a bad day and were capable of giving a good account of themselves on a good day.

That good day is today as the CCA side has a second chance to prove its ability with a different lineup of players.
