The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA -Nigeria), has invited human rights advocate and Executie Director of Citizens Advocacy For Social and Economic Rights(CASER), Barr Frank Tietie to speak at its Side Event holding at the 62nd Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Lagos, from 19th to 26th, August.
Speaking to oir correspondent in Abuja, Tietie said that, this would be the 3rd national gathering of lawyers that he would be addressing in 2 years. He said like the previous ones, he will use the opportunity and platform to advocate for radical social shifts and call for greater freedoms for Nigerian women.
The abuja based consultant guest in widely viewed national telivision programs said he will attempt to contribute to an agenda on the protection of Nigerian women and suggest action plans for their expanded liberation from the shackles of the socio-cultural and religious stereotypes which they suffer.
