Sir Alex Otti has confirmed he will be the Keynote Speaker at the inaugural University of Port Harcourt, Abuja Chapter, Gown to Town Symposium scheduled to hold on November 21st, 2022 in Abuja. The venue for the event is the Banquet Hall of the Nigeria Air Force Conference Center in Jahi, Abuja, FCT.
Other dignitaries that will grace the event are former President Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR and the premier alumnus, will be the be the Special Guest of Honour.
The Abuja Chapter of the University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association has been very active since 2010 and has maintained its activities with various programs to buttress its corporate social responsibility obligations. The association meets once every month, being the second Sunday of each month at the Cockerel Restaurant, Zoological Gardens, Area 1, Garki, Abuja at 2pm.
Alex Otti is a Nigerian economist, banker, investor, philanthropist and politician. Otti is the former Group Managing Director of Diamond Bank Plc, a retail financial institution in Nigeria. He was a gubernatorial candidate in Abia State on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance in 2015.
Otti is a member of the Editorial Board of Thisday, and writes a fortnightly column, every other Monday, titled “Outside The Box”.
The President of the Abuja Chapter of the Uniport Alumni Association, Mrs. Phil Biobele Okoroafor has urged all alumni members in the FCT to save the date and plan to attend.
