Chief Gabriel Ohwo Goes Home

Chief Gabriel Ononyume Ohwo who died on the 21st of March, 2021, will be laid to eternal rest today, 21st May, 2021. The funeral arrangements are as follows; Body leaves Veenell Central Mortuary at 7;30 am for a brief stopover at his residence, 13 Ighogbadu Road, Warri, Delta State, Funeral Mass will be held at   10 am at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Warri, Delta State.

At 1 pm, there will be a Ceremonial Parade and 21 Gun Salute in honour of Chief Gabriel Ononyume Ohwo by officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service.

Interment will take place today in his home town, at his residence, Orhonigbe Street, Umusu Quarters, Orogun Town, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State, Nigeria. Reception will follow immediately at Efe Primary School, Orogun.

On Sunday, 22nd May, the outing service of Chief Gabriel Ohwo will take place at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Warri, Delta State.

The funeral announcement was signed by Martin Ohwo Esq., for the children and Chief Barr. Jadin Ebinum (Rtd CP) for the family.

Born on the 14th of November, 1930, he was aged 91. Until his death, he held the traditional titles of, the Ogbu of Orogun Kingdom and the Adesa of Ethiop Kingdom. He is survived by his wife, Children, Sons and Daughters In-Laws, Grand Children and Great Grand Children.
