The Commodore of Hope and New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) candidate for Senate in the Delta South Senatorial District, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama (Rtd) has condoled His Royal Majesty, Elder Capt. King Joseph I. Timiyan JP, PhD, The Torububou 1, Agbonu, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, on the demise of his mother, Chief (Mrs.) Mama Amogunye Timiyan who died on Tuesday, 30th of August, 2022 after a brief illness.
In a condolence letter, the NNPP candidate for Delta South Senate expressed his heartfelt condolences as he is pained by the news of mama’s passing. He said, “I received the news of the sudden passing of your beloved mother, Chief (Mrs.) Mama Amogunye Timiyan, as a rude shock. This is particularly painful losing the mother of the Ogulagha Kingdom at this time as I didnt have the opportunity to meet with her directly. She would no doubt be sorely missed. While expressing my deep commiseration occasioned by this sad occurence, I would encourage us to take consolation in the fact that she lived a good life and touched lives in a unique way. This has been attested to by many within this short space of time as the news broke. Thus, beyond the mourning, we should brace up to appreciate God Almighty for Mama’s impactful life especially in giving us an amiable and influential King as you”.
He further expressed his grief on the sad occurrence and said that Mama’s death, no doubt has left behind a vacuum which will be difficult to fill.
He concluded his condolence letter with a prayer that “the Almighty God grants you, the entire Royal Family and Ogulagha Kingdom, the fortitude to bear this loss and stay strong even at this period of grief, Amen. Please accept my heartfelt condolences”.
