The Federal Capital Territory council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ has set up its credentials committee to conduct elections for a new Executive for the Council.
The Committee members include Kemi Kindness of Love FM who is to serve as the Chairperson of the Committee, Mr. Godfrey Akon of The Abuja Inquirer newspaper as Secretary, Comrade Tersoo Zamber of FRCN, Mr. Vin Oliji, Voice of Nigeria, Elder Emeka Nze of Blueprint newspapers , Mrs Henrietta Momodu of Edo Broadcasting Service, EBS, and Francisca Ogar of ITV.
A statement by the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Osaretin Osadebamwen, and the Secretary, Mr. Ochiaka Ugwu
said the process was done in line with Article five nine A to G of the NUJ Constitution.
Meanwhile , the FRCN Chapel of the NUJ has commended the Council for the succesful exercise, describing it as a step in the right direction.
A statement by the Acting Secretary of the Chapel, Comrade Hassan Husein also congratulates the FRCN Chapel Chairman , Comrade Tersoo Zamber for making the list and urges members to do a thorough job.
