Ogboru Asks Delta Youths To Take Back Their State in 2023

The Gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru has asked Delta Youths to prepare to take their State back from the hands of those who have held the state down for decades.

Chief Great Ogboru said on his facebook handle that, Delta state is blessed with all it will take for her citizenry to live up to their expectations.

“We are blessed with both natural and human resources, yet we remain backward in development as a result of the nature of leaders we have given the privilege to oversee the affairs of government in our state.

“Consequently, today we are challenged by a high youth unemployment rate, which stands at 40.36% unemployed and underemployed Deltans with 20.1% out-of-school-children.

“We must give this State back to the masses, our teeming youths and not leave it in the hands of leaders who do not care about how the people survive.

“Exploiting our human capital within the youth strength and demographic dividends intelligently, must start with reducing the high youth unemployment and developing means of funding to enable our youths become entrepreneurs and Operators of our Small and Medium Scale enterprises(SMEs)”, the statement concluded.
