Allwell, who in a press statement released on Tuesday night, in reaction to an interview Sule Lamido granted to Channels TV the same day, asked the Jigawa-born politician to “shut up and stop exhibiting your illiteracy”.

The statement made available to Crossfire Reports described Sule Lamido as one of the most corrupt politicians in Nigeria who remains the only former governor arrested with his two sons and are still being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC.

He said: ”It is a known fact that despite Lamido’s limited education, party politics has exposed him beyond his mental capacity.

Hon. John Allwell who was speaking on behalf of South-South Concerned Youths reminded the former Governor of Jigawa state that, he is old enough to resolve the crisis and bring peace to PDP instead of playing his current divisive role.

“The Party and Atiku should be wary of him as an unfriendly friend. Recall he was one of those who sold Jigawa to APC in 2015 and hasn’t been able to win a ward election to date.
