Thousands of final year students drawn from both public and private secondary schools in Esan North-East and Esan South-East Local Government Areas of Edo State today thronged Ogbidi Learning Centre Uromi, St Francis College and Owobu Primary School Ubiaja to write the mock examination for the Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation Free NECO/SSCE Enrollment Scheme ( 11th edition).

Accompanied by his amiable and supportive wife, the founder/president of the foundation and honourable member representing Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. (Barr.) Deacon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun was on ground to monitor the mock examination to ensure strict compliance with the requisite guidelines.

The mock examination is a precursor to the disbursement of free NECO/SSCE enrollment grants to 600 deserving candidates and award of automatic university scholarship to the overall best six candidates. The presentation ceremony which is billed for the first quarter of 2023 will see 600 successful candidates who passed today’s mock examination walking up the rostrum to receive their free NECO/SSCE enrollment grants from Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation. By the same token of generosity, the overall best six candidates will be offered automatic scholarship to any university of their choice just as all undergraduates who are currently on the foundation’s university scholarship scheme would smile home with their annual scholarship grant of #100,000 each.

In the last decade, the foundation had successfully sponsored ten editions of the free NECO/SSCE enrollment scheme and undergraduate scholarship program with about Six Thousand beneficiaries. The eleventh edition will be a wow!
