The Federal Ministry of Education has mourned the passing of Prof. Ismail Junaidu, Executive Secretary, Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC).
In a condolence message, the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, said: “On behalf of the entire Ministry, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the NERDC and the family of Professor Junaidu during this difficult time.”
The condolence message was issued by the Director, Press and Public Relations in the ministry, Mrs Folasade Boriowo and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday.
Mamman described Junaidu as a visionary leader and champion of education, whose dedication and passion made a lasting impact on the sector.
“His tireless efforts and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on our nation’s educational landscape,” he said
The Minister prayed for the repose of Professor Junaidu’s soul and comfort for his loved ones during this difficult time.
