The Cricket Club Abuja (CCA), the pioneer Cricket Club in the FCT, established in October, 2006 will hold its Annual General Meeting today, September, 24, 2022.

An internal memo signed by the Club’s General Secretary, Mr. Michael Egiethua and made available to Crossfire Reports states as reproduced below:

“Please note that the Annual General Meeting/Election of a New Executive Committee (Exco) of the Club will hold today Saturday 24th of September, 2022.

“Time: 4.30 pm.

“Venue: MEMBERS ONLY**

“Kindly note that only financial paying members can vote and be voted for in the elections to various Executive Committee positions.

“Let’s all come together to elect our new Executive Committee.

The CCA since its inception has taken the noble game of Cricket to the nooks and crannies of the FCT as well as organize many yearly Cricket tournaments and every Sunday training sessions for its members and would be members.

Mr. Regi George of Olam is the outgoing President of the Cricket Club Abuja. A new President along with a new Executive Committee are expected to be announced at the end of today’s AGM.
