National Home Grown School Feeding  Programme Team Visits Edo State For Assessment

A team from the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme office visited Edo State yesterday, September 19th, 2022 to assess its readiness for the recommencement of the school feeding programme in the State.

They paid a visit to the Edo State Focal Person of Social Investment Programme, Osayuwamen Aladeselu and made a courtesy call to the Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry of Youth and Humanitarian Affairs, Mr. Chris Osa Nehikhare.

The Home Grown School Programme is one of the programmes of the Social Investment Programme which is presently domiciled in the Edo State Ministry of Youth and Humanitarian Affairs.

The National officers will also embark on visits to the Local Government Areas where the school feeding took place previously to meet with the other Stakeholders like the school feeding cooks, head teachers, Local Government Education Secretaries, members of SBMC and farmer association representatives.
