I received the shocking news of the loss of my friend, a legendary musician and an icon of Benin arts and culture Prof. Victor Uwaifo.
Professor Victor Uwaifo, was an illustrious son of Edo state who made us so proud with his music and phenomenal talent which put Edo in the world map of music.
I pray that God almighty will grant the Uwaifo family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
