Mrs Hannah Akpakpan, Head, Greenfields Pinnacle School, Abuja, has called on education stakeholders to harness the potentials in students for successful future impact to achieve national goals.

Akpakpan, at the price giving day and launch of the school’s books on Monday in Abuja, said students needed to make meaningful impact in life.

According to her, students involvement in all aspects of education will help them to develop the required skills.

“Whatever we do, every child is involved; every child is given equal opportunity because there is a treasure in them.

“We must harness and bring out these potentials so that these children will fulfill their destiny.

“So we should give every child the opportunity to write and express themselves.”

Akpakpan also urged schools to target high intellectual performance of students and build the skills and knowledge of the students for a success next level.

On the new Delta Variant of COVID-19, she said that the school had put measures in place to protect the students while also ensuring adequate security for the students.

“We got a better security agency than we were using before and we do not allow parents and other adults to go into the buildings.

“We check on every bit of detail, pick-up and drop-off time, especially, and we are very careful who we allow to do that.

“What we did to combat the COVID-19 effect was to put hand wash tanks in the school- both outside the school and inside the school.

“We ensure every child has a face mask or the face shield and then the children have hand sanitisers which they use from time to time.”

Akpakpan said that the school had published the volume 3 of the green fielders stories and poem as well as the ‘drama food waf’.
