I want to declare to the world from the depths of my heart and soul that JESUS CHRIST saves from the power of death. He is the Lord of life. It is not a matter for any intellectual debate. There is simply no controversy about it and I am not ready to contend with anyone about it. I am neither willing to be socially acceptable nor religiously or politically correct about it.
I have just been miraculously saved from death by the power of the Almighty God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He who holds the power over life and death. I have experienced His deliverance from death because of His mercy. He delivered me from death by His touch and my life is renewed. So I cannot stay calm about it.
_Yes, remember your Creator now while you are young, before the silver cord of life snaps and the golden bowl is broken. Don’t wait until the water jar is smashed at the spring and the pulley is broken at the well. -Ecclesiates 12: 6 (NLT)
I have always known that the above scripture will be fulfilled one day in my life and everyone’s but I never knew it would happen so early, without warning and when I was so unprepared. I have seen the depiction of the superintendents of death severing people from life by the cutting off the silver cords in _Hercules_ , the motion picture but I have never experienced it for real as it was to me during the last 12 days of unprecedented personal struggle for life.
I have consciously experienced different levels of grace and mercy from the Lord in the last 40 years of my life but never like the last week of July, 2021. There have been times that i have lost faith in religion and many Christian practices. I have also taken the love of the Almighty God for granted many times in my life, knowing how much He loves the human being but I haven’t until lately experienced His power to save from a death bed.
I therefore encourage everyone that I know to take out time to consider the gift of life and its Giver. I can personally testify that God’s Word and His promises are true. He is able to save, heal and deliver from any attack of sickness and disease, especially from unseen enemies.
I am grateful to God for all for all those he used to help me in those times of an illness of a terminal nature. I am particularly thankful for Andrew Korna for those sleepless nights of pain especially when I couldn’t walk. God bless that MFM pastor, with whom I have never met yet he kept night vigils of intercession for me. I am grateful to those Moslem neighbors who in the middle of the night took me to the hospital. I am grateful to distant family members and friends who prayed and kept on with calls of encouragement.
God bless Dr. Rufus Ebegba, John Isabage and Dr Ohioma Arukhe for their kind defrayal of the medical bills.

Death is an enemy. It works for he who has come to steal, kill and destroy destinies. But the Lord God is mighty to save and by the power in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, death and the power of the devil are defeated.
Put your trust in the Lord. He is the owner of life. Slow down a bit and acquaint yourself with Him so that you may remember to call Him for mercy during the day of trouble. In times of trouble and distress, you will truly discover that indeed, He is the only one you have in this life. This is a matter of faith for life is beyond the natural.
